Stay Calm




One of the essential aspects of good communication is staying calm. The minute you start to get angry, your communication skills will start to fall apart.

When you lose your temper, your adrenaline will start to flow, and your reptilian brain will kick into action and hijack your rational thought process, this can lead to you saying and doing things that in a short space of time you wished you hadn’t done or said.

Staying calm is not always easy but is essential if you want to stay in control of any conflict or dispute that could get out of control, the moment you lose emotional control you have effectively lost the argument and any moral high ground you might have gained will be lost.
